Decorative B efore writing The Pathless Path, I never expected to make money from writing. It was just something I enjoyed doing.
Fate intervened, and the book has reached nearly 70,000 people around the world. I've been blown away by the response and am confident that I have the coolest readers in the world.
As the book gained attention, many people from the publishing industry took notice. People reached out, offered opinions, and even made offers to acquire the rights to my work.
But none of these people seemed to care that much about the book or the ideas inside it. They spoke of everything but the book: Speaking gigs. Influential podcasters. Public relations budget. Low-cost manufacturing in China. Bookstore positioning. Bestseller lists.
Through this, I became convinced that I needed to do double down on my own path. I also wanted to shake things up.
Many people told me that self-publishing was cool but I would always be limited. The biggest critique? Self-publishing means inferior quality. But was it even true?
Challenge accepted.
I realized how much even my own pathless imagination was constrained by what people others said was possible. But there have never been fewer limits to what you can create on your own, including in the publishing world. So for the last eighteen months, I've been slowly working on a special edition of The Pathless Path. We're nearly done. It's sexy. I laughed with delight when I saw the first sample copy.
I can't wait to share it with you.
